Based in Brisbane Queensland, Crafers Engineering was founded by its present owner, Peter Ridgers, in 1985. Today, the business specialises in the service and maintenance of hot melt adhesive dispensing systems Australia wide. Peter is supported by three field engineers and an in-house workshop service crew.Crafers Engineering use genuine and industry standard replacement parts. All repaired and refurbished components undergo strict testing procedures before being released from our workshop. All service work is carried out strictly in accordance to the original manufacturer’s specifications, which guarantees optimum performance from your component.
On site services
Our independence allows us to offer onsite services on most major brands of melters, hot melt guns and hoses. We can attend your work site to undertake scheduled maintenance or assist in the event of a breakdown no matter where you are located in Australia.
If a breakdown cannot be repaired on site, Crafers Engineering can supply and install a hire unit while your melter is returned to our workshop for repair. This reduces downtime for your production line.
In-house services
Our in-house services include overhauling melters, rebuilding pumps, refurbishing hot melt guns and gun modules and cleaning hoses and nozzles. We also have an extensive range of spare parts available in our parts division.

Our technical team are experienced problem solvers. We combine our knowledge with specialised technology (exclusive to Crafers) to locate problems and potential weaknesses in your system. Our focus is on keeping your production line running, minimising downtime and losses.
